Director: Professor Flavio Carvalho de Vasconcelos – PhD, Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), Paris

EBAPE was established in April 1952 with the support of the UN. It was initially a school for professional improvement in the Brazilian public sector. The school played a pioneering role in university teaching by offering the first higher learning course in Public Administration in Brazil.

As the years went by, it expanded its operations to include the field of private business administration, offering a number of ongoing education programs, in addition to undergraduate courses, a Master’s Degree and a Doctoral Degree.
