The school was created in Brasilia in an effort by FGV to expand its physical presence in the political center. FGV EPPG's mission is to continually dedicate itself to making Brazil better governed, more developed and fairer for all citizens. Its vision is to be the main global academic reference on governance in emerging countries.
The school proposes to train leaders capable of impacting the evolution of governance in the country, guided by the concepts and values linked to resilience and diversity.

Created in 1979, the Brasilia Library specializes in social sciences, with an emphasis on administration and economics. It has a collection of more than 4,000 titles and more than 7,000 physical items, including books, periodicals and other publications.
It has an environment equipped for reading, research and studies, with comfort, good lighting and appropriate conditions for the storage, preservation and safety of the collection's materials.
The website also offers access to the FGV digital library and the catalog of the FGV Library System in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, with more than 176,403 titles and 334,604 items available.
Restaurant
To provide comfort and practicality for students, professors and other FGV employees, the School of Public Policy and Government building has a food court on its premises. The space consists of a cafeteria with capacity for up to 50 people, open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 10 pm.
Classrooms
EPPG classrooms have modern infrastructure and offer comfort for FGV students and professors. All environments are air-conditioned, equipped with projectors, high-speed wireless internet, projection screens and whiteboard. The spaces are adapted for the mobility of people with disabilities or reduced mobility.
Auditoriums
The auditorium has a capacity for up to 180 people and offers technological resources such as wireless internet access, audio equipment, UPS, screen for projections, computers and multimedia projector. The location has infrastructure for people with disabilities or reduced mobility.
Study rooms
FGV provides study spaces for the unit's students with the capacity to for up to 45 students, in rooms equipped with internet access and a printer.
