Participation took place through the FGV Young Ambassador Program: BRICS Mission
Students from FGV schools in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Brasília actively participated in organizing the BRICS Summit on July 6 and 7 at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro.
The activity was part of the 2nd FGV Young Ambassador Program: BRICS Mission, promoted by the Foundation's International Director, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During an intense week of activities, the students volunteered at three key events of the Brazilian presidency of the group: the 3rd Sherpa Meeting at the Hotel Nacional; the 10th Meeting of the New Development Bank (NDB) at the Fairmont Hotel; and the Summit of Heads of State and Government itself.
The experience provided diplomatic exposure and reinforced FGV's commitment to training leaders engaged with global challenges. At the end of the mission, the students posed for an official photo with Minister Cláudio Garon, coordinator of BRICS Brazil 2025 activities, symbolizing recognition for the work accomplished.
