Michele Luz

International Coordinator

Michele Luz holds a Phd and a Master’s in Political Science from the Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), and a  bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the same institution. Her research is based on Brazilian and international politics with a focus on Discourse Theory, Populism, Social Networks, and Political Communication. 

She has experience working with the third sector and is currently a member of the Research Group Ideology and Discourse Analysis in the Graduate Program of Political Science at UFPel (PPGCpol/UFPel). She also participates in the Transnational Populism project of the Centre for Applied Philosophy, Politics and Ethics (CAPPE) at the University of Brighton, England where she worked as a visiting researcher. As an author, Michele Luz wrote papers published in scientific journals and books in Brazil and abroad.
